Beginning Yoga: This class will help yogis build strength, flexibility and balance in the body, connect with the breath, and calm the mind. Students will learn a wide variety of poses with a focus on alignment, beginning with the fundamentals in basic poses and exploring how these key concepts apply across pose families. Modifications are always available.

All poses are accessible, but some will challenge you (modifications are available). Although classes often include some Vinyasa (flow) to help warm the body, this slower-paced class focuses on alignment and features longer pose holds.

Some yoga experience is helpful though not required. Level 1 classes are intended for those who are newer to yoga and those who prefer a gentler class with less (not zero!) demand for upper body strength.

Gentle Yoga II: This class is intended to be part of a lifelong practice to build and maintain strength, flexibility and balance in the body, connect with the breath, and calm the mind. All poses are accessible, but some will challenge you (modifications are available).
