Aqua Fitness

Aqua Fitness is a great alternative, or addition, to 'land' exercise. HRCA Aqua classes focus on aerobic endurance and resistance training in an enjoyable atmosphere. These low-impact but high-intensity classes are great for those with frequent joint pain.

Aqua Fitness Class Descriptions

Aqua Extreme: A refreshing, higher intensity, low-impact workout with high results. This class is designed to enhance your strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health – all while enjoying the supportive buoyancy of water.  You can expect to combine resistance training and high-intensity cardio intervals. This class is ideal for those looking to minimize joint stress.

Aqua Fit and Flex: This moderate-intensity, low-impact, full-body workout will use the resistance of the water and the challenge of the current to improve participants' strength, mobility, and endurance. You can expect a balanced, well-rounded workout in this class.

Senior Aqua Fitness: This energizing, low-impact class is perfect for the aging body. Moving at a slower pace, this class is designed to improve strength, flexibility, range of motion, and endurance for the aging population. Class is taught from in the water for these sessions!
