HRCA Fitness programs help motivate and encourage people of all ages and abilities to become and stay active. Fitness programs include Drop-In Fitness Classes, Personal Training, Senior Fitness, Specialty Fitness Classes, Wellness Services, and Fitness Events.

60-Day Body Transformation Challenge

Ready to melt the pounds away and kick start your New Year’s resolution weight loss goals? Challenge yourself (or with a friend) and join our 60-Day Body Transformation Challenge where you will compete against other individuals or teams of two to see who can achieve the highest percentage of weight loss in a 60 day period! 

Individual Challenge Participant:  $615
Team-of-Two Challenge Participant:  $380 each

The Challenge:
  • Weigh-in is required prior to starting with your trainer and participants will receive two body composition reports.
  • Participants will be given 16 – one hour sessions over a 60 day period with a personal trainer to achieve weight loss. All sessions must be used within the 60 day period. Any remaining sessions will be forfeited at the end of the challenge.
  • Competition begins Tuesday, January 10, 2017 and ends on Friday, March 10, 2017.
  • Overall individual and couples winners are determined by the percentage of weight loss that occurs during the 60-day competition. 
  • All participants will receive a free entry into the HRCA St. Patrick’s Day 5K on Saturday, March 11*. 

Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers of both the Individual and the Team-of-Two Challenge.

Drop-in Fitness

The HRCA Drop-In Fitness program offers a variety of classes including Mind-Body, cardio, interval and strength training, Zumba, Indoor Cycling, and Aquatic Fitness classes. These fun and affordable classes are taught by nationally certified fitness instructors, are available daily, and do not require advance registration.

Our program is designed to promote health and fitness for all ability levels to enjoy. Participants 13 and older are welcome to attend any class listed on our Drop-In Fitness Class Schedule.

Small Group Personal Training Classes

Small Group Personal Training allows members and guests to work economically with a personal trainer while gaining knowledge of the weight room. Classes meet one time per week for four weeks.

Advanced registration and a signed fitness waiver are required. For more information, please contact the Fitness Specialist at or 303-471-7044. All Small Group Personal Training Classes will meet at the Equipment Desk at respective facilities. Classes must meet a minimum of four participants three days prior to new session.

Specialty Fitness Classes

HRCA Fitness offers several specialty fitness classes to meet your needs. The following classes are four weeks long and run monthly with the exception of our workshops and are priced separately from our Drop-In Fitness punch cards and passes. Wellness Services

HRCA Foot Care - Available at Southridge & Westridge (Ages 18+)
A registered nurse will trim toenails, corns, and calluses. Improve mobility, promote health, and gain comfort. Payment for foot care is made to the HRCA, cost $26. For scheduled dates and appointments at Southridge, call 303-471-7020. at Westridge, call 720-348-8202.

Body Composition Assessments - What are you made of? This fast and accurate bioelectrical impedance body composition analyzer will show you your body fat percentage, basal metabolic rate, segmented muscle balance, body composition, and much more. This is a useful tool for establishing a workout and nutrition plan based on what you’re made of! Appointments are 30 minutes in length and your results are accurate, personalized and reflect your unique body composition.

Price $30. Appointments available on Wednesdays, 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. Call the Fitness Coordinator at 303-471-7044 to make an appointment.

Healing Touch Therapy - Healing Touch is a light-touch and no-touch energy therapy method to help balance your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. It has been shown to enhance recovery from illness, decrease pain and anxiety, promote wound healing, and help with depression and other conditions. It is also used to decrease side effects of nausea and fatigue as a result of chemotherapy and radiation. Combined with traditional medicine, it is considered a complementary and integrative therapy. Clients remain dressed for sessions. Payment for Healing Touch Therapy is made to the HRCA.
