Cardio & Strength

HRCA's cardio-strength classes aim to improve cardiovascular health, endurance, and muscular strength. Your certified instructor will utilize a variety of equipment to keep your fitness routine fun and fresh.

Cardio & Strength Class Descriptions

Barbell Strength: This class is a total body barbell workout that will shape and tone your entire body, improve bone health, and increase core strength.  Using a barbell with light to moderate weights and lots of repetition set to energizing music, Barbell Strength will develop lean muscle and increase overall strength.

Interval Training: Interval training incorporates different cardio formats (step, bosu, and sports conditioning) to build muscle strength and endurance. Expect a fast paced class that is sure to make you sweat! 

Cardio Kickboxing: Get ready to sweat  in this energizing, kickboxing-based, cardio workout! You will be kicking and punching to heart-pumping music.

Cardio Muscle: Aerobic conditioning, strength training, and core stability training!  Format is ever changing!

Total Body Conditioning: A variety of equipment is incorporated to provide a total body conditioning workout, designed to improve muscle tone, strength, and endurance.

Full Body Blast: A variety of equipment is incorporated to provide a total body conditioning workout, designed to improve muscle tone, strength, and endurance. Expect to use timed intervals to push yourself to the limits. 

Step and core: Step choreography that will energize your workout followed by ab-centric work to build a powerful core!

Power Sculpt: An intense full-body sculpting and core stabilization training.  Increase strength, flexibility, balance, and lean muscle.

Strength Training: Strength training will help you define muscle, increase bone mass, and increase caloric expenditure. Utilize a variety of dumbbells and equipment to work your body heat to toe. 

Rise and Grind: Start your day with a variety-filled workout as you begin with strength training and conclude with Yoga and deep stretching.

Power Hour: Strength and toning hour using specialized resistance and weights to build strength, anaerobic resistance, and muscle.

-R.I.P.P.E.D: R.I.P.P.E.D. combines Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometrics, and Endurance to help everybody meet their ultimate fitness goals in a fun group exercise environment. Get a full-body workout that combines all elements of fitness in one hour!

STRONG Nation: This class combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. Every squat, every lunge, every burpee is driven by the music, helping you make it to that last rep, and maybe even five more. Plyometric or explosive moves like high knees, burpees, and jumping jacks are interchanged with isometric moves like lunges, squats, and kickboxing.

Muscle Fusion: Upper and lower body sculpting with light cardio. The format is always changing to keep your body guessing.
