The HRCA Backcountry Wilderness Area has three archery ranges; the two newest archery ranges at the Backcountry Outdoor Center; the 3-D Archery Range, Sight In Range, and the original Wildcat Mountain Archery Range.
Violations of rules and regulations may result in prosecution in accordance with private property laws of the state of Colorado and/or enforcement pursuant to the HRCA covenant and rule enforcement policy.
Our new Range and 3D Range opened in 2018. These ranges are open year around from sunrise to sunset.
Our 3D range is one of the best in the state. We spared no expense and installed all of the best targets including multiple elk, deer, bear, and turkey targets along with sheep, goat, caribou, moose, pronghorn and much more. The course is set up through a mile loop trail in a grassland, gamble oak eco-system with rolling hills and some decent elevation gain and loss. Shots are challenging and varied with flat, uphill, and downhill shots from 10 to 90 yards. We designed our course to offer realistic hunting scenarios and targets.
Address: 6005 Ron King Trail, Littleton, 80125. 3.5 miles south on Santa Fe from HR Parkway
