School Programs

The Backcountry Wilderness Area’s educational programming brings to life the concepts you introduce in your classroom. We offer programming both at our Backcountry Base Camp as well as on-site: in your classroom, in your schoolyard, or at a local park. All programs are designed to aid teachers in helping their students achieve Colorado Academic Standards.
