Seahawks Summer Swim Team provides a competitive swim experience for all levels of swimmers. Being on HRCA's Seahawks Swim Team gives swimmers the chance to be part of a team, build camaraderie, improve skills, get consistent physical activity, set and strive for goals, and most importantly have a lot of fun!
Are you looking to gain swimming experience, but are not looking for a team? Join the Seahawks Intro group that meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Westridge Rec Center. Intro swimmers will have the opportunity to join in the swim meets for the session they are registered.
Parent Meeting & Swimmer Evaluations | April 13
Swim parents are the unsung heroes of our swim team. Much like the swimmers, parents have to learn as they go; especially those who are new to the swim team world. The parent meeting is where we share a lot of information about this summer's program.
Swim Level Evaluations All swimmers need a base-time to be placed into swim groups accurately. Current Seahawks Intro, Intermediates, Juniors, Seniors, and Elites with recorded Swimmingly times do not have to stay for evaluations unless they want to establish a base time in an event.
Swim evaluation duration depends on how many swimmers need to be evaluated. Each evaluation lasts 10-15 minutes. Swimmers will line up by last name (see times below) and coaches will complete the evaluations individually or in small groups
