Nature Camp – Camp Backcountry

Our week-long nature camps provide kids with an unparalleled opportunity to play and explore outdoors, all while nurturing children’s wildly curious minds and instilling a love for nature. Each session follows a similar format with lots of traditional camp activities and outdoor adventures, with a different underlying science theme each week.

Key Nature Camp Information

Ages 7-13, entering 2nd-8th grade
Campers are broken up into three groups based on age and grade: Explorers 7-8, Voyagers 9-10, Adventurers 11-13
Drop-off Time: 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Pickup Time: 3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Before Care available
Counselor camper ratio is 1:8, with maximum group sizes of 16 campers
Campers will spend most of their time exploring, building, hiking, creating, and playing in nature. Every week has a different theme with unique science activities that make up a small part of the overall camp experience. Campers will have the best summer ever no matter which sessions they choose!
