We believe that children learn, grow, and thrive when outdoors and immersed in nature. Our program adds a unique addition to that belief by using an enriching, experiential learning approach through interaction with horses. Our goal is to manifest the passion and love of equine in the hearts and minds of children while strengthening their connection to, and understanding of, the natural world. Whether our campers are petting, grooming, working with, or riding horses, Camp Backcountry-Horse is more than just a place to spend your days. It’s an experience that becomes part of who each child is.
