From Centennial Water and Sanitation District

A water well pump, located in The Hearth neighborhood of Highlands Ranch near Glengate Circle, is being repaired due to pumping equipment failure. Applied Ingenuity Company (AIG) is conducting the work on behalf of Centennial Water.  Temporary fencing and project signage have been placed on site for safety purposes.

During the first phase of repairs, the crew will remove the well pump, after which the pulling rig will be removed from the site. The equipment will be evaluated off site to determine if repair or replacement is necessary. This phase will likely take four to six weeks to complete. If new equipment is needed, it will be ordered and assembled offsite. This can take an additional four to six weeks to complete.

The well will also be inspected by video and cleaned as necessary. Crews may be on site multiple times during this period, depending on the course of action needed for repairs. When the pump assembly is ready to be reinstalled in the well, the wireline rig will return to the site and the work will be completed within several days.
