The Eastridge rec center first opened its doors in 1997. A major renovation in 2013 improved and added new equipment to the cardio and weight areas and in 2022 there was a facelift of the rotunda and administration offices. Now it is the locker rooms that are getting special treatment.
The Recreation Center at Eastridge Locker Room Renovation Project kicked off on May 8, 2023!

We are almost at the finish line! The locker room renovation is wrapping up, and the tentative reopening date is set for Sunday, August 27! We are excited to show everyone the final look!
Construction crews have been working hard to get to this point and next week they will complete the final touches for the project. The last couple of weeks have been busy with the installation of light fixtures, lockers, benches, countertops, sinks, and bathroom partitions. Crews will continue the installation of these items into next week and finish up with some painting.
Tiling crews have been hard at work since the last update to make sure the walls are looking great befor the epoxy floor installation. The epoxy floor installation will begin, on July 26th and go through August 8th.
We are still on time for a late August completion date and are excited to see the finished look!
