Camp Shuttle

Due to COVID-19, it is yet to be determined if the Camp Shuttle to and from Southridge will be available for the summer of 2021. See all of our COVID-19 updates here.

Save yourself a trip to Base Camp! We have a shuttle that leaves the Southridge Rec Center each morning and another shuttle that returns to the Southridge Rec Center each afternoon (summer only).

  • Anyone in any Camp Backcountry summer session can ride the camp shuttle
  • Cost: $5 each direction each day
  • Drop-off and pick-up location: Southridge Rec Center
  • Morning shuttle: If your child is headed to Base Camp on the morning shuttle, you will drop your child off in the front loop of the Southridge Rec Center between 8:30 and 8:40 a.m. The shuttle will leave promptly at 8:40 a.m. Campers who arrive at Southridge after 8:40 a.m. will miss the shuttle and will need to be dropped off at our Base Camp.
  • Afternoon shuttle: If your child is returning on the afternoon shuttle, please be in the front loop of the Southridge Rec Center to pick up your child no later than 4:00 p.m. If you would like for your child to sign themselves out in the afternoon to walk home, please contact the Camp Director for the camper self-release form.

  • Before and After Care is not available for Horse Camp sessions
  • Daily and weekly options available
