July 4th Parade

The Highlands Ranch Community Association’s and Metro District are partnering to bring the July 4th Parade to the community. The patriotic parade is designed to appeal to families and to bring the community together to celebrate our nation’s birth. The first leg of the parade is the Family Pet & Bike Parade (.2 miles) followed by the Community Parade (1.02 miles).

Family Bike and Pet Parade

The HRCA Family Bike and Pet Parade, for children ages 2 - Grade 6, allows families to get into the Independence Day spirit; dress yourself, kids, pets, and bikes, in patriotic attire! Families stay together and then can find a place to watch the Community Parade.

Times:

  • 8:30 a.m: Everyone participating in the family bike and pet parade line-up is on Cpl Max Donahue Ln (Near Raising Cane's)
  • 8:45 a.m: Family Bike and Pet Parade begins 
  • 9:00 a.m: Community Parade begins

Route: The parade route takes goes south on Hepburn to Highlands Ranch Parkway east and south into Town Center South parking lot.

Community Parade

The Highlands Ranch Community Association’s annual Fourth of July Parade brings the community together to celebrate our country! Community members line the streets of Highlands Ranch to enjoy the parade which starts in front of the Kaiser Permanente building located on 9285 Hepburn Street. We invite your company, charitable organization, school group, and/or neighborhood to participate in this holiday parade.

Rules & Regulations

Advance tickets must be purchased online. If not sold out, tickets will be available at the door. All online ticket sales are subject to service fees. All ticket sales are final, and no refunds will be issued.

Safety:

  • There may be candy distributed during the parade. For the safety of your children, please encourage them to stay out of the street.

Street Closures: 

  • Parade Street closures on July 4th (5:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.):
  • Highlands Ranch Parkway between Lucent and Broadway
  • Zotos
  • Ridgeline from Dorchester to Highlands Ranch Parkway
  • Blake Dr. from Ridgeline Blvd. to Highlands Ranch Parkway

  • Safeway shopping center parking lot
  • Home Depot parking lot
  • Michael's parking lot
  • Super Target parking lot. Enter through Town Center Blvd. & Sgt. Chris Falkel Dr.
  • Mountainview Community Christian Church, 40 East Highlands Ranch Parkway
  • St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 8817 Broadway
  • Christ Lutheran Church, 8997 Broadway​

    Liability Waiver
    By enrolling or participating in any program or recreational activity provided or sponsored by the Highlands Ranch Community Association, Inc. (HRCA), members and guests acknowledge and agree that there are certain risks inherent in such programs and activities, which the members and guests assume. By enrolling or participating in any program or recreational activity, members and guests and their successors, heirs and representatives hereby waive any and all claims of liability against the HRCA and its members, directors, officers, agents, employees, contractors, and related entities arising out of any loss, injury, or death that they may suffer as the result of enrolling or participating in any such program or recreational activity including, but not limited to, the use of the HRCA recreational facilities, regardless of the cause of such loss, injury, or death. Members and guests are also required to comply with the rules and regulations applicable to the recreational facilities and off-site venues. Although there is no obligation for any person to provide medical attention in connection with participation in such programs or recreational activities, members and guests consent to any such care or attention that may be provided to them. Members and guests understand and agree that HRCA may take pictures of the program or activity that may include the member or guest. By enrolling or participating in any program or recreational activity members and guests agree and consent to the use of such images by HRCA both online and in written materials for general marketing purposes for future community events, programs, and activities. HRCA allows enrollment and participation in its programs and recreational activities based upon the agreement and acceptance by members and guests of the terms and conditions contained in this Liability Waiver which is intended to be interpreted and construed as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the State of Colorado. By attending or participating in any event or activity, I hereby confirm my understanding, agreement, and acceptance of the terms, conditions, and statements contained in this Liability Waiver and assume all risks concerning or related to my enrollment and participation in such program or recreational activity.
