Tim McNerney Meet Tim, HRCA's Tennis/Pickleball Program Team Leader. Tim grew up playing the Western Jr. USTA Sanctioned Intermountain tournaments, played #1 singles (Colorado) during his high school tenure, played collegiately and professionally before becoming a USTA Sanctioned Tennis Teaching Professional during his graduate study years in Greeley and Denver. His initial degree was in Computer Systems Analysis and Design before he moved on to education where he taught for 15 years in Denver Public Schools and then migrated to school leadership/administration. He recently retired as a Superintendent of Schools after 34 years of service and is now beginning his 2nd career in Tennis/Pickleball Leadership with the HRCA.
Tim’s father was a citizen of Ireland and had a brother born on St. Patricks Day while he was living in Boston. Needless to say, he’s very Irish!

Mike Marocchi Mike fell in love with the game of pickleball along with the rest of the country! From the moment he stepped on the pickleball court, he was hooked! Coach Mike is now HRCA’s first credentialed pickleball pro. After having spent the last 28 years as a PTR Tennis Professional, Mike has made the transition to pickleball adding a PPR Certification accentuating his career track in the Racquet Sports Industry.
