Senior Club

The Senior Club provides a social network for HRCA members 50 and older to meet new friends, socialize, and have fun. The Club sponsors activities in the Senior Lounge, at the Recreation Center at Southridge, and a monthly luncheon, in addition to various trips and outings. AARP Driver Safety*

This is a four-hour classroom refresher is designed to meet the needs of older drivers. It covers age-related physical changes, declining perceptual skills, rules of the road, new laws, local driving problems, and license renewal requirements. 

Participants pay instructor (check or cash); $15 AARP Members (must show card) $20 non-members.

The Highlands Ranch Encore Chorale

Come join the Highlands Ranch Encore Chorale and enjoy the social, mental and physical benefits of choral singing in a supportive and non-auditioned setting. While developing a wonderful circle of friends, you will perform a variety of popular, folk, Broadway and movie music, and will increase your vocal and musical ability under the professional direction of Brian Patrick Leatherman and Cindy Runkel, co-founders of 5280+ Encore Chorale. September 27, 2018 Fall Colors
Enjoy the stunning gold and red colors as we drive the Peak-to-Peak Highway in search of the best fall colors in beautiful Colorado. WE will make a stop in Nederland to enjoy a quick lunch. While in Nederland take a spin on the historical Carousel of Happiness.
 Approximately 6 hour trip. Cost: $55 per person

December 13, 2018 Christmas Lights & White Fence Farm
Let’s get in the Holiday spirit together! Before going out to view the most magical Christmas lights around Denver we will stop for dinner. Enjoy a fun meal that will get you in the Christmas Spirit at the famous White Fence Farm.
Approximately 6 hour trip. Cost: $55 per person

Overnight Trips
September 5 - 9, 2018 Colorado Wine and & Balloon Road trip Glenwood Springs - Palisade – Snowmass
 
Colorado has so many different activities to experience that sometimes it’s best to put a few together and create a wonderful little road trip! We start in Glenwood springs staying in the wonderful and luxurious Glenwood Springs resort where you can take as much or as little time in the pools to soak in the natural mineral spring water. Then we head towards Palisade to taste a few local wines at some of the many vineyards in Palisade and stay at the charming Wine Country Inn. We then will go to Aspen/Snowmass to see the Balloon Festival in the picturesque mountain scenery. While in the area we will also learn a little bit of history at the famous Ashcroft Ghost town right outside of aspen, take a gondola ride higher up the mountain, and stay in the Luxurious Westin Hotel on the mountainside. Trip includes all activities, All lodging, all transportation, 9 meals, tour director, and more!

October 26 - 28, 2018 Deadwood

Take a trip to Deadwood to see the historic small town and all its quirks! As it will be Halloween there will be plenty of quirks to see for their Deadweird festival. While gambling and shopping are plentiful we will also see Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and take a quick ghost tour of the town!
