Riding Lessons

Private Riding Lessons (Ages 5* +)

It’s a party of three for your private horseback riding lessons in the Backcountry: you, our horse, and an instructor. The low-distraction environment paired with individual attention will propel your horsemanship and riding skills at a more rapid pace during this one hour lesson. Riders (ages 5 to 99) can choose between Western, English, and trail lessons depending on your interest.

*Thirty minute lessons are available for students ages 5-6.

Please note, if you are a beginner (little to no horse experience) over 7 years old, Basic Horsemanship I is required prior to riding lessons. It is suggested that beginners ages 5-6 years old enroll in a Pony Tails course prior to riding lessons.

Please contact Carly Boyd or 303-471-7078 to schedule a riding lesson.

Group Riding Lessons (Ages 7+)

Reach your equestrian goals--from learning to saddle up your steed to maneuvering with ease--in our small group lessons. With no more than three students at a time, our instructors will teach to the level of each rider and riders will benefit from one another. Riders (ages 7 to 99) will learn western riding.
