Horseback Trail Rides

General Information

Horseback Trail Rides

Check out our trails on four hooves instead of two feet on our guided horseback trail rides through the Backcountry Wilderness Area. The relaxing one-hour outing explores a portion of the 13-square-mile conservation area with opportunities to spot local wildlife like elk, mule deer, golden eagles, prairie dogs, and more. The Front Range Rocky Mountains provide the perfect backdrop to a close-to-home horseback riding experience. All trail rides are open to the public for people 7 years old and older. A few quick reminders: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your ride to complete our waiver and for check-in as no refunds are given for late arrivals. There is no need for riding experience, but we don’t allow double riding. Please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and sunblock and bring along water. Our wranglers also accept and appreciate gratuity. There are no refunds or exchanges without a 24-hour notice. If we must cancel due to weather, rides will be rescheduled or refunded as necessary.

Off-Trail Trail Rides

This is your chance to take a two-hour, guided horseback trail ride with a chance to see elk, deer, raptors, and the beautiful scenery of the Front Range as you ride through trees and open meadows. Maximum of four riders per trail ride. Available year-round.
