Sauna framing is nearly complete, with most of the structure now in place. Locker installation is underway, with initial units already being set. At the rear of the building, work on the back staircase has wrapped up and is now fully complete.

iling work is nearly complete, with about 75% of the tile installation finished throughout the space. In the Cold Plunge room, tiling is fully done and the ADA lift has been successfully installed.

Next up, sauna construction is scheduled to begin next week. Meanwhile, flooring work is set to kick off on September 15th.

Tiling work began this week, and crews have already completed about 80% of the women’s locker room.

Elsewhere in the space, all walls are now sheet rocked, and the ceiling is being closed in following some needed copper water pipe repairs.

Lobby Restrooms Now Open!

Renovation work continues in the Locker Rooms, where drywall has been installed and the spaces are beginning to take shape. Take a peek at the progress photos this week show the developing shower areas and the common locker room changing space.

Front Lobby Now Open!

We’re excited to welcome you through the brand-new entrance of our refreshed Front Lobby at Westridge Recreation Center!

As part of our ongoing updates, we’re still hard at work on the Locker Rooms, which are scheduled to be completed in September. Thank you for your continued patience and support.

Locker Rooms: The locker room flooring work is progressing well. Half of the new concrete has been poured, and wall framing is expected to begin later this week.

Lobby Renovation: Work on the lobby ceiling is now underway. At the same time, millwork has begun for both the access desk and the member services desk. Electrical work continues throughout the space.

The Westridge Recreation Center continues to undergo exciting transformations during its full-facility refresh. Here’s a look at the progress from Week 3:

Turf Area: The turf is now officially open for use. The newly completed installation enhances both the look and functionality of the space, and we’re excited to see it back in action for our athletes and community members.

Front Lobby: Preparation work is underway in the front lobby area. For the safety of all patrons, foot traffic is restricted for the next three weeks while crews complete subfloor work and prepare the space for new finishes.

Locker Rooms: Demolition in the locker rooms has been completed. With the old infrastructure now removed, the space is ready for the next phase of renovation to begin.

Youth Wing: The youth wing has reopened, and the energy is back! Approximately 80 kids are enjoying the space each day as they dive into summer break activities.

Upgrades at the Westridge Recreation Center continue to move forward as crews wrap up the second week of the full-facility refresh. Here’s a look at the latest progress:

Youth Wing: Work in the youth wing is nearing completion. Restroom updates are almost finished, and both ceiling tiles and new flooring are in place, offering a bright, modern look for the space.

Turf Area: New turf was installed last week, including added sections around the perimeter of the playing field and a new warmup zone. These additions are designed to enhance the player experience and improve the functionality of the space.

Locker Rooms: Demolition work is progressing rapidly. All interior walls have been removed, and crews have begun tearing up the existing flooring. Roughly 80% of the floor removal process is now complete.

Front Lobby: Activity in the front lobby was limited this week. However, crews continued preparing the subfloor for the upcoming installation of new terrazzo flooring.
