Tennis is a game and must, first and foremost, be FUN! Additionally, we try to never miss a "learning opportunity" with a student, whether it's technical, tactical, strategic, mental, emotional, or golden-rule-of-life moment. It's often our job to wear multiple "HAT's" to help our students successfully navigate their tennis journey.
My students call me "Mazza" and say they enjoy my humor, but they know that I am also always honest and tell them the truth. They know they can trust me.

"No ball is out of reach. A successful attitude comes from the belief that you can hit one more groundstroke than your opponent, chase down one more overhead, and play just one more game. If no ball is out of reach, then no opponent is out of your league. Try your hardest and know that even if you've lost, it wasn't because you gave up."
Ginger Angell grew up as a varsity and all-star softball player. She played junior varsity basketball and always loved athletics. As an adult athlete, she discovered tennis and fell in love with the sport. After only four years as a tennis player, she started her coaching journey. She's been coaching since 2018 and growing in her love to develop others to their full potential on and off the court.
Her philosophy is that the cream always rises to the top. Even if you're on the bottom, as a person of greatness, you'll always rise to the top.
Ginger has been a USTA Team Captain since 2016, leading her teams to District and Sectional Championships multiple times per season.

My Dad once told me that "Attitude is everything." Without a positive mental approach to something, you will never succeed. Remember, if you give your best effort, you will never be a failure or a loser. I believe tennis is a game for life, you can play at any level, at any age.
