The Highlands Ranch Race Series celebrates community, fun, and the great outdoors. From festive 5Ks and rugged trail runs to our mid-week mountain bike races and untimed kids’ triathlon, there’s something for every age and ability. Come for the challenge—or just for the good company!

Highlands Ranch Race Series volunteers are an essential part of every event! From helping with packet pickup and setting up the race center to cheering on runners at aid stations and keeping things organized behind the scenes, volunteers make the magic happen. Whether you can give a few hours or a full day, there’s a role for everyone.

Crescendo Combo

Crescendo Combo
Take your running to the next level with the Crescendo Combo! Over the course of the year, you’ll tackle progressively longer distances—starting with two 5Ks of your choice (3.1 miles each), moving on to the Wildcat Mountain 10K (6.2 miles), and finishing strong with the Backcountry Wilderness Half Marathon (13.1 miles). Registration opens December 1, 2025.

The Crescendo Combo costs $190, which covers entry fees for all included races and comes with a special gift. This challenge is open to athletes aged 10 and older, and registration closes June 1, 2026, so sign up early to secure your spot!
