Youth Coached Swim

Seahawks Drill Academy

Westridge - Indoor Lap Pool (Ages 6 to 14)
Required Skills to Participate: Swim 50 yards freestyle with side breathing and 50 yards backstroke demonstrating endurance. New swimmers are tested the first day. Class Content: A coached swim program with 3 skill levels (bronze, silver and gold) which focuses on techniques for all four competitive strokes and building endurance. All skills from each group must be completed before advancement. 

Seahawks Conditioning Camp

Westridge - Indoor Lap Pool (Ages 8 to 18)
Required Skills to Participate: Swim 4 legal competitive strokes and swim 200 yards freestyle and backstroke with flip turns and an adequate dive from the diving block. Competitive experience is recommended. New swimmers are tested the first day. Class Content: Develop stronger techniques and maintain endurance during the off-season. All skills must be completed before advancement.

Seahawks Elite

Westridge - Indoor Lap Pool (Ages 10 to 18)
Required Skills to Participate: Must be able to swim four legal competitive strokes and be able to complete 10 x 100’s on a 1:50 interval. Swimmers must have successfully completed the Seahawks Conditioning Camp. Swimmers are tested the first day. Class Content: A competitive program designed to maintain fitness during the off-season. This session is 1-1/2 hours long so endurance is a critical portion of this program. 

Adult Coached Swim

HRCA offers adult Coached & Competitive programs for all skill levels from basic lap swimming to advanced competitive levels. Participants pay drop in or purchase an Adult Swim Program Pass which is valid for six months from the date of purchase.

Adult Swim Pass

Your membership card will be pre-loaded for either 10, 20 or 30 pre-paid visits to participate in any of the Adult Coached Swim Programs. No extra card to remember to bring and you can participate in any of the below programs offered at the times most convenient to you. Call 303-791-2500 to purchase a Program Pass bundle or stop by any HRCA Recreation Center to begin your journey to better health and making new friends. All Program passes will expire six months from the date of purchase.

Stroke Technique

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Northridge Recreation Center
For beginner to intermediate swimmer who can swim 25 yards freestyle without stopping. Learn to swim laps while increasing efficiency, endurance, strength and speed through improved stroke technique training and drills. Information and training about proper swim etiquette and lingo are also offered during this program.

Ranch H2O

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30 - 7:30 a.m., Northridge Recreation Center
For beginner to intermediate swimmer who can swim 100 yards freestyle without stopping. This program will increase overall fitness through stroke technique development and increasing endurance. 

Tri-H2O

Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., Northridge Recreation Center
For beginner to advanced triathlon swimmers. This program focuses on freestyle to build endurance, gain speed and increase confidence for future triathlons.

Mid-Day Masters

Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 9:15 - 10:45 a.m., Northridge Recreation Center
For intermediate to advanced swimmers who can swim 500 yards freestyle, be competent in two of four strokes and be able to swim for 1-1/2 hours. This program focuses on stroke technique and drill work for all four strokes while increasing endurance. Perfect for overall fitness for all swimming levels.

Power Masters

Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m., Northridge Recreation Center
For intermediate to advanced swimmers who can swim 500 yards freestyle for one hour. This program focuses on more competitive drills to increase speed, confidence and endurance.

HRCA Cancellation, Refund, and Transfer Policy

To cancel a class call 303-471-8858 or the Program Coordinator. All refunds are charged a $5 processing fee. Refunds and class transfers must be requested at least five business days prior to the beginning of the class. Refunds are issued back to the participant in the original tender. Refunds are not issued for inclement weather or for ticketed events.

Your information will not be given out and will strictly be used for the purpose of sending information as it relates to HRCA
