Seahawks Summer Swim Team

Hi Seahawks Swimmers & Parents!
While all of us navigate life under the threat of the COVID-19 virus, we have received a number of inquiries about the status of the 2020 summer swim team season.

We received the below communication from the Mile Hi Swim League Board this week, that due to the current situation, the 2020 season must be cancelled.

We share in your disappointment, but are already planning other swimming programs for your families. We are closely monitoring everything that we can, including federal, state and local government guidance.

We have always made the health and safety of our swimming families & staff our #1 priority. This will continue to be our focus in the decisions made in the coming days and weeks. As soon as our path forward becomes clearer, be assured, we will communicate with everyone via email, team unify and the HRCA website. Stay tuned.....

In the meantime, visit our new Coached Aquatic HRCA at Home Page and follow us on Twitter @hrseahawks to stay informed and interactive in the coming weeks. Also please continue to monitor HRCA COVID-19 online.

With your understanding and patience we will get through the uncertain days and weeks ahead. We hope that you and your loved ones remain healthy until we can see you on the pool deck.

Your HRCA Swim Team

Message from Mountain Hi Swim League Board of Directors
To all our Wonderful MHSL Delegates, Coaches, Parents and Swimmers,

As you are all aware, we have recently seen a historic health situation occur in our society. This has caused us to make some tough decisions. It is with a heavy heart that I announce that the MHSL Board decided to cancel all meets, practices and team activities for the 2020 season. This was not a decision easily made and many factors were considered, including the difficulties of social distancing under the Safer At Home policies.

Due to the cancelation having no precedence, the MHSL Board will meet one more time next Tuesday to discuss many different factors that will affect this year and next, including a final meeting of the delegates later on this year.

All required meetings, virtual and otherwise, for scorekeeping, officiating, and Clerk of Course training have been cancelled.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these decisions.

Thank you.
MHSL President

HRCA Seahawks has a highly successful fun competitive summer swim team which includes events for all four competitive strokes. Since 1985, the Seahawks have held their own at weekly dual meets with other local teams, as well as, at a championship meet, an All-Star meet, and, qualified swimmers, have gone on to participate at the State championship.

Cancelled: Swim Team Information Meetings and Try-Outs.
We are aware of the current status of the COVID-19 virus and we are acting with an abundance of care to make our environment as safe as possible for our guests. We are working with our local and national public health care authorities to take proactive measures. With that in mind, we feel that it is in everyone’s best interest to cancel the Swim Team Information Meetings and Try-Outs. All future updates will be posted to the Seahawks Swim Team website only.
