We hope to make it easy for you and your child to be prepared for camp by answering your questions about what to bring and the camp policies.

Camp HRCA Parent Resources

  • What to Bring: Water bottle, lunch, swimsuit, towel, and close-toed Shoes
  • Weather Closure Policy: Camp HRCA will have camp unless Douglas County School District-Highlands Ranch Area Schools are cancelled. Please listen to the radio stations for school closure information. There will not be a separate listing for Camp HRCA on the news. If Douglas County School District-Highlands Ranch Area Schools are on a delayed Camp HRCA will be on a delay. In the event weather conditions deteriorate during the course of the day, we will initiate closure procedures by contacting parents. As always, we respect a parent’s decision to keep their children home, if necessary. What will happen if I am running late on a field trip day?

If you are running late on a field trip day you can call the Camp HRCA cell phone to notify your group that you will be late. Unfortunately, if you are running later than when the bus is scheduled, and you arrive after it has left, you are welcome to take your child to that day's field trip location and your child can ride the bus back with the group after the field trip is over. If you miss the bus, and choose not to take your child to the field trip, you will not be eligible for a refund. Due to licensing ratios, we are not able to leave staff at the facility.
