Mini Camp – Camp Backcountry

Note: Mini Camps are cancelled for the summer of 2020 due to COVID-19. NatureHorse, and Art Camps remain open for summer 2020 registration. See all of our COVID-19 updates here.

Tie up their boots and give your five- and six-year-olds the freedom to explore at Mini Camp. This two-hour, once-a-week taste of Camp Backcountry is the perfect launch pad for kids entering kindergarten and first grade to take in a pint-size version of our full-week camp adventures. From hikes and den building to nature-based crafts and wildlife games, our Mini Campers will build confidence in the outdoors and learn the basics of wildlife ecosystems. All Mini Campers must bring along their favorite adult—who needs to remain on the property throughout the program—but should plan on staying behind as Mini Campers adventure with the group.
