Wild Roots FAQs

If we want our children to move mountains,
we first have to let them out of their chairs.

Why Wild Roots?

A growing body of research shows that frequent play in nature enhances a child’s development and helps prepare the child to succeed in school and in life. Statistics show that:

  • Outdoor play increases physical activity and builds healthy bodies
  • Children develop better language skills and more self-discipline outdoors
  • Spending time in nature increases the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Play based programs build a foundation for academic success better than traditional academic-based preschoolsÂ
