We believe that children belong outside. All of our preschool age programs allow children to connect with their senses, each other, and nature within a safe, exploratory space. Children must be accompanied by an adult on all programs (adults may be responsible for more than one child).
Backcountry Bedtime Stories
This will be a story time your family will never forget! Bring the kids in comfy, warm jammies to Base Camp where we'll hop on a hayride to a fort in the forest. The twilight-hour will be spent reading a nature story, doing a quick craft or activity, and then taking the sleepy-eyed youngsters on the haywagon back to Base Camp. Due to the capacity of the haywagon, there is only room for eight kids and one of their favorite adults. (Only register the child, the adult tags along for free. If an additional adult wants to attend, please email Tara Clark at email@example.com for information on availability).
What to Wear:
Please dress children (and yourself) in closed toe shoes and comfortable clothes that can get a little dirty. Our programs typically run rain, snow, or shine, so be sure to dress appropriately for the weather.
What to Bring: Bring a full reusable water bottle.
Location: Backcountry Base Camp; 6005 Ron King Trail, Littleton, CO 80125. Map & Directions
Refund Policy: Refund and transfer requests must be made 5 days prior to the start date of the program.
