Mask Mandate & HRCA
In accordance with State Executive Order D 2020 138, masks are required for anyone over the age of 10 for entry into HRCA facilities. Masks need to be worn at all times, including while using the workout equipment, participating in fitness classes, or while attending any other HRCA indoor programs or events. Masks must be covering both your nose and mouth.

Masks should not be worn while swimming in the indoor pools, but are required on the pool deck. At the outdoor pools, masks are encouraged while on the pool deck but not while swimming in the pool. For all pools, lifeguards are not required to wear masks while on the stand.

The State Order does not impact our childcare camps and programs, unless the participants are over the age of 10. Please check program and camp information for specific guidelines.

Anyone found in violation of the mask mandate will be referred to the Douglas County Sheriff.

Backcountry Wilderness Area

Can We Use the Backcountry Trails and Archery Range?
Yes, and there are many physical and mental health benefits to getting outside! Please use caution: do not recreate with people outside of your own household, practice physical distancing, and keep six feet or more from other individuals. We encourage you to use the trails during non-peak hours to avoid crowding. Do not touch trailhead signs or use the spotting scopes at Highlands Point.

Learn more about appropriate use of the trails during the pandemic.
