Comedy Show: Why fight the crowds and traffic to enjoy top-notch comedy? Once again, HRCAA brings you a night of comedy right here in Highlands Ranch. Join the hilarious comics Eddie from New York, Stephanie McHugh, Elliot Woolsey and Rion Evans for a night of non-stop laughs and fun.

Eddie from New YorkEddie from New York has been a Highlands Ranch resident for 10 years and is currently the oldest comedian performing in the Denver Metro area. He is a grandfather of five and a Vietnam Veteran who has raised over $20,000 for homeless veterans and children needing organ transplants. Eddie has opened up for many top comedians and has recently performed one man shows in Jamaica, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. His Netflix special It Sucks Getting Old is scheduled to be released  in 2024.

Stephanie McHugh: Stephanie’s journey with comedy began as a child when she learned the power of making people laugh.  Eventually she began pursuing stand up comedy in her 30s, married with 2 small children. Nine months after her first time on stage, Stephanie won a trip to the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and has been on the Denver comedy scene for over 17 years.

She appeared on Nick at Nite's TV Show America's Funniest Mom and The Steve and Stephanie Morning Show on KOOL 105.  Stephanie’s is a co-founder of the MentalPause Comedy Show.

Stephanie loves dogs, has a recipe for chocolate tofu pie that you will LOVE and can touch her tongue to her nose.  Stephanie lives in Denver, CO.

Elliot Woolsey: Rowdy, witty, and larger than life, Elliot has been a regular performer at Comedy Works since winning the prestigious Comedy Works’ New Faces Contest in 2012. Since then, Elliot has shared the stage with some of today’s greatest comics including Dave Chappelle, Whitney Cummings, and Norm Macdonald.

Elliot’s high-energy, commanding stage presence, and relatable material has made him a rising star. He has been featured at The Great American Comedy Festival, High Plains Comedy Festival, and Telluride’s Blues and Brews Fest, where he entertained audiences with his tales of growing up in the suburbs of Denver as a lanky stoned Mormon.

You can catch Elliot all summer long at Red Rocks Amphitheatre where he is the host of Film On The Rocks.

Rion Evans: This nationwide sensation of comedy was recently featured at Just For Laughs, a comedy festival in Montreal, and Kevin Hart's LOL Network.  He's also featured on BET's One Mic Stand and selected as one of the first few comedians for the breakout new show Off The Chain, Bounce TV's number one show.  Rion Evans' comedic talents are described as natural and unique leaving no audience unlaughed.  Rion has performed for countless charitable associations such as Meals On Wheels, Cancer Survivor Reunion, Homeless Outreach, and KYGO Christmas Crusades For Children.

He has headlined at the nation’s top comedy clubs, but between comedy dates Rion gives his talents to commercial/theater acting and voice over jobs as principal characters for many respected companies such as Chili's, BroadwayHD, Advanced Auto Parts, and Mars/Wrigley.  Rion also starred in three films, Vincent Makes A Decision and Shot Clock, both of which are highly anticipated at the "Denver Film Festival".  Rion won BEST ACTOR in the global film festival, FILMAPALOOZA for the 48 HOUR FILM PROJECT'S "Carrier" which also won BEST FILM.

Rion has written for the late night talk show, The Mo’nique Show and the comedic hit from BounceTV, Off The Chain to help round out his resume.  Rion keeps great company in stand-up, working with big names such as Kevin Hart, Henry Cho, and Mo'Nique who featured Rion as a guest on her hit late night talk show .  The overwhelming response from that appearance spawned a self made comedy tour called The Pop Up Tour covering over 30 states and 100's of cities to shorten the distance of television for his fans.  Yes...Comedy Is Back...and if you haven't had the opportunity to share in some laughs with this wonderful talent , do so, or like Rion always says "Laugh Wit'cha Later.."
