The very popular Ladies Fishing on the Fly. The Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association teams up with the Cutthroat Chapter of Trout Unlimited to teach ladies ages 16 and older the art of fly fishing. There is one classroom session and an outdoor classroom and field trip. Classroom, Friday, May 11 • 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Eastridge, 9568 University Blvd, Highlands Ranch 80126• Outdoor Classroom and Field Trip: Saturday, May 12 • 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Flying B Park/Pond 2910 W. Plaza Drive, Highlands Ranch 80129 Expert Instructors lead this workshop that covers all of the basics of fly fishing: casting, reading the water, entomology, conservation, tying, knots, landing and releasing, and plenty of hands-on practice.
