Colorado, often called the “Napa Valley of Beer”, is home to over 250 local breweries and brewpubs. In celebration of our beer culture the HRCA proudly presents the 6th Annual Highlands Ranch Beer Festival. Live music, local and national breweries and lawn games will be present at this event. Unlimited one ounce samples and a souvenir tasting glass is Included in the ticket pricing. Must be 21+ to partake in tastings. Individual beer will be available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit the Highlands Ranch Scholarship Fund.
The festival is open to all ages; however, only those over 21 can consume alcohol. Proper ID required upon entry. Admission to the park is FREE! You do not need to purchase a ticket to enter the park. Only ticket holders will be allowed to sample beers at the festival.
Tickets: $35 in advance, $45 day of if not sold out.

Submit you brew for a chance to win prizes!
6 Bottles must be turned into Grist Brewing Company (Town Center Location) with entry labels and competition entry form during normal business hours May 20 - 30.
Light – wheat beers, lagers, cream ales, etc.
Medium/Dark – everything from ambers to porters
Hoppy – IPA’s
Open – cider, sours, fruit beer, etc.

Six (6) 12oz bottles labeled with the label printed off HRCA website.
Limit one entry per category per person.
HRCA and Grist employees may not enter.
Flip tops and 22 oz bottles are not acceptable.
Bottles must be free of ink, paint, or paper labeling other than the competition entry label.
Bottle caps must be neutral i.e. no lettering or graphics.
Bottles must be turned in at Grist on Town Center by closing on May 30th.
*To have the winning beer brewed at Grist, it MUST be a style that is not already on tap at Grist Brewing Company. For example, Grist has a milk stout on tap already, so if the winning beer is a milk stout, they would not brew it. So try and be creative with your recipe and beer style.
The competition will be judged in 3 rounds.
First round will be judged by HRCA, Grist, Broadway Brew Supply, and HRCA employees. (2 bottles)
Second round will be judged by attendees of the Highlands Ranch Beer Festival. (3 bottles)
Third and final round will be judged by brew masters and beer professionals from within the community. (1 bottle)
Any beer that did not place may be picked up at Southridge rec center on Sunday, June 3rd. Any beer left past that date will be thrown away.
Competition labels and entry forms will be posted no later than May 1st.
