The HRCA will be accepting donations for the wildfire relief at the 4th of July Celebration. Donations will go to Colorado Red Cross and can be made at any of the sales tents at the event.

Start the party with a run/walk challenge along the scenic trail system of Highlands Ranch. The run will offer something special every mile. Proceeds benefit Developmental Pathways.

The HRCA Family Pet & Bike Parade allows families to dress up everyone, including the pet and bikes, and show their patriotic spirit! Make a sign to identify your family, if you like. This patriotic parade is for children 2 - Grade 6. Parent must stay with child. FREE to participate. Registration not required. Families will stay together. The line up will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the street that runs between Garbanzo Restaurant and Jack in the Box. The parade route takes participants south on Hepburn to Highlands Ranch Parkway east and south into Town Center South parking lot. Families may then find a place to watch the Community Parade. The Highlands Ranch Community Association’s (HRCA) annual 4th of July Parade will bring the community together in celebration of our nation’s birth. Beginning at 9:00 am, Community members will line the streets of Highlands Ranch to enjoy a full day of celebration including the Family Bike & Pet Parade, the Community Parade, music, food, beer, a pet adoption fair, and a 5K race. Ed Greene with CBS4 will announce the parade and Gerald M. Flannery, CEO/General Manager will be the Grand Marshal.
Street closures will be from 6:30 a.m. to approximately 10:30 a.m. on July 4th. Streets that will be closed are:

Beverages: Bud Beer $5, Bud Light Lime $5, Stella Artois $5, Lime-a-Rita $5, Monster Energy Drinks $3, soda $1, water $1 TICKETS OR CASH ** Anyone purchasing alcohol must present a valaid ID and must wear a wrist bracelet. No exceptions. Tickets: $1.00 each. Tickets are needed for rides and games, which cost between 1 - 7 tickets each. NO REFUNDS. Tickets may be exchanged for merchandise such as beer, pop, water, or Midway games, kiddie rides, etc. Tickets are not accepted by food vendors on the square.

SkateMinistry.org will be at Town Center North with their professional skate team and portable skate-park. Come by, meet the team, and watch as they put on an exciting show of all their best skateboarding tricks at noon, 3:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. Bring your board and join the fun! The skate-park will be open to all skaters between demos. A signed waiver is required.
Don't miss seeing the race to eat the most hot dogs. This contest is sponsored by Bernie's Hot Dog Co. Registration is Wednesday, July 4th 2:00 p.m. at main stage. Limited to first 25 participants. Registration will be held on July 4th at 2:30 at the Main Stage in Town Center South.
Looking for love? On the lawn in the Square, noon - 4:00 p.m. you can check out the pet picks from your local shelters. It could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Sheriff Orders Professional Fire Works Displays Prohibited. Due to the current extremely dry conditions and high fire danger, Douglas County Sheriff David A. Weaver in conjunction with the Executive Board of the Douglas County Fire Chiefs Association has decided it would be contrary to the safety and welfare of the citizens of Douglas County to approve any public fireworks displays for the 4th of July.
