DESCRIPTION:Sheriff Orders Professional Fire Works Displays Prohibited. \nDue to the current extremely dry conditions and high fire danger\, Douglas County Sheriff David A. Weaver in conjunction with the Executive Board of the Douglas County Fire Chiefs Association has decided it would be contrary to the safety and welfare of the citizens of Douglas County to approve any public fireworks displays for the 4th of July. \n\nStay up-to-date with HRCA by signing up for eME\, Facebook\, and Twitter.\n\nJuly 4th Fun in Highlands Ranch\n\nThe HRCA will be accepting donations for the wildfire relief at the 4th of July Celebration. Make a sign to identify your family\, if you like. This patriotic parade is for children 2 - Grade 6. Parent must stay with child. FREE to participate. Registration not required. Families will stay together. The line up will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the street that runs between Garbanzo Restaurant and Jack in the Box. The parade route takes participants south on Hepburn to Highlands Ranch Parkway east and south into Town Center South parking lot. Families may then find a place to watch the Community Parade.
