HRCA offers both hard-court and sand volleyball during the summer. The leagues feature coed, men’s, and women’s divisions. Each league includes eight matches and a post-season tournament.

CARA Volleyball (Colorado Association of Recreational Athletes) League
Play tournaments against other CARA programs around the state. Follows a recreational volleyball format with volunteer coaches. Participants play in three tournaments and have one practice per week. Practice date is determined by the day you sign up.
Over the past five of seven years the HRCA Club Volleyball teams have won an incredible six regional championships.
The HRCA Club Volleyball provides the best possible training to produce volleyball players of high caliber. Promotions of athletic performance, competitiveness, and leadership skills are among the many attributes the participants gain with this type of exposure to the sport of volleyball. The training aspect of the program emphasizes skill development, physical conditioning, and team strategy.
Program tryouts are in November and practice gets underway in December. The season concludes in April.
The HRCA Club Volleyball Teams will train to compete against many other club teams across the state. HRCA club teams will have the opportunity to play in eight to nine club tournaments throughout the season.
Youth Volleyball
This coed league offers a six game regular season and a single elimination playoff. Teams have two pre-season practices. Teams will receive one practice per week. Game and practice schedules will be available after the mandatory coaches meeting TBD. Volunteer coaches needed.

Our 6 vs. 6 coed, men’s and women’s divisions offer eight matches and a post-season tournament. Levels of competition for 6 vs. 6 include ‘C’, ‘B’, and ‘BB’

Our 4 vs. 4 men’s, women’s, and reverse coed divisions also offer eight matches and a post-season tournament. All levels of competition for 4 vs. 4 are ‘A/AA’.

Important note: ‘A’ level teams must have an HRCA member as their captain. ‘A’ level is for highly skilled, competitive, power hitting players with consistent and accurate passing and setting skills, strong knowledge of running offensive volleyball plays.
