FAQ's:
Can I pick up my wife / husband / cousin / friend / child / neighbors / relay member’s packet?
-
Yes, you can! You will need a copy of their Drivers License and USAT card and completed waiver form. We have found that a picture of the ID on your phone can be quite clear and will suffice. Note: You cannot attend the mandatory meeting on their behalf! If they cannot attend a meeting at PPU, we will plan on seeing them at the meeting on Tuesday evening.
But, I already signed a waiver online… Do I have to fill out another?
-
Everyone will be required to fill out a (yes, with a pen/pencil) HRCA waiver form. Well, that’s not exactly true, the personal information can be typed, but the signature will need to be “Old School”.
How can I be in the first wave of fastest swimmers? I have to be at my kids (fill in your kids sport here) game / Mom’s house / work…
Will the bike course be swept? There is garbage/gravel/glass.
-
The bike course will be swept by Douglas County on Thursday evening the 7th and again by us with a broom while setting the course at 2am Friday morning!!
Will there be a place to change in the transition area?
-
NO, and USAT rules state you may not expose your birthday suit.
Post Race: Be sure to stick around after the race for food, drinks, raffle prizes and our amazing vendors.
