HRCA Fitness Programs and all Drop-In Fitness, Mind-Body, indoor Cycling, and Aquatic Fitness Classes are designed to meet your needs on your schedule. The HRCA offers fun and affordable classes taught by nationally certified fitness instructors.

The HRCA Drop-In Fitness program includes Group Fitness, Mind-Body, Indoor Cycling, and Aquatic Fitness classes. The entire program is designed to promote health and fitness for all ability levels to enjoy. Participants as young as age 13 to the active older adult may attend any class listed on our Drop-In Fitness, Mind-Body, Indoor Cycling, and Aquatic Fitness Schedule.

*Please call 303-471-7048 if you have a child age 8-12 who would like to attend classes with adult supervision.

Value pricing for teenagers (ages 13-17) and seniors (ages 55+)!

Group Fitness Classes/Mind-Body/Indoor Cycling

Classes for Group Fitness/Mind-Body/Indoor Cycling begin as early as 5:15 a.m. and start as late as 6:45 p.m. for your convenience. Also, classes are held seven days a week. When viewing our current schedule, please note that some classes are "stroller friendly"! These classes are marked with an asterisk and allow parents to bring children ages 18 months and younger to class in either a stroller or a car carrier.


Aquatic Fitness Classes

Aquatic Fitness serves as a great addition to any fitness regime. It offers a workout that is less stressful on the joints, while burning calories in a shorter time period due to the resistance of the water.

Classes at Recreation Center at Westridge:
  • Deep Aqua Intensity: Deep, cool water class for all abilities that will strengthen the heart and tone muscles. A low impact class; great for the core.

Classes at Recreation Center at Eastridge:

  • Aqua Intensity: A high-energy workout using equipment to develop coordination and strengthen abdominal muscles. Deep-water workouts are an integral part of this program.

Classes at Recreation Center at Southridge:

  • Just Add Water: This intermediate to intense workout in chest-deep water focuses on strengthening and toning arms and abdominal muscles.
  • Aqua Bubbles: This beginner class focuses on improving muscle control, flexibility and coordination. It includes cardio, Pilates and yoga exercises.
  • Swimnastics: This comprehensive program in chest-deep water was designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, increase fat burning, enhance flexibility, and tone abdominal muscles.
  • Aqua Fit and Flex: This fun, power-packed workout is designed to promote overall fitness, cardio conditioning, core stabilization, resistance training and full-body toning utilizing both shallow water and the current channel.
