In an ever changing global community, the Highlands Ranch Community Association introduces a variety of language courses for both youth and adults that are sure to provide wonderful introductions into diverse cultures and backgrounds as well as conversational language skills that are designed for both beginners and those who already have exposure to these languages.

Youth Language

Spanish Enrichment ® Journey for Pre-Schoolers (Ages 3-4)
The best time to expose your children to a foreign language is during the early years. These fun and interactive Spanish classes will introduce your little one into the Spanish language and culture and your child will have the opportunity to have a native speaking teacher teach with the following themes using songs, story time and interactive exercises: The vowels, Colors, Parts of the body, Animals, The Seasons and Fruits.

This beginning ESL (English as a second language) class will bring children to a basic level of English language comprehension and conversation skills.

Fun Spanish summer program for ages 4 to 11 years old. Fun learning activities, including games, songs, interactive exercises, movies and much more!

NEW! Learn to speak Mandarin (Ages 5-9) 
Come join the bilingual Mandarin class to learn the most spoken language in the world, Give your child the advantage of learning the language of the 21st century! The curriculum is fun and interactive with emphasis on building a solid language foundation through listening, speaking and some character recognition. Every child participates in activities and intonation exercises with a native speaking teacher. The class requires at least one parent to be present during the teaching time.

Adult Language

Practical Spanish for Adults Level 1
Are you interested in learning basic Spanish so you can communicate better in the workplace? Are you going on a trip and would like to understand the basics for the Spanish language? This introductory fast-paced Spanish class focuses on vocabulary, pronunciation and communication basics. Material will be included.

Practical Spanish for Adults Level 2
This intermediate fast –paced Spanish class will focus on enhancing your knowledge base of the Spanish language in the areas of vocabulary, pronunciation and accentuation, as well as introducing you to conjugation of the verbs in present, past and future tenses. A bilingual workbook will be included.
