Winter Cultural Series 
Do you enjoy professional theater, dance performances or concerts? The HRCA presents these cultural opportunities right here in Highlands Ranch! Seating begins at approximately 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00 p.m., at Cherry Hills Community Church, 3900 Grace Blvd. The series includes four Thursday night performances throughout January and February.
January 14 - Queen City Jazz Band
The Queen City Jazz Band has been around since 1958, formed when Denver disc jockey, Harney Peterson, suggested the city needed a good jazz band and opened his home for groups to get together to jam.
What was just a weekend gig has grown into over four decades of regular weekly performances in a variety of venues. The band has become a Colorado musical institution and has been honored by the State Legislature, two governors, and the Denver City Council for its cultural contributions.
January 28 - Central City Opera
Smooth Operator - Performed by members of the Central City Opera Ensemble.
From Sweeney Todd to Traviata, Music Man to Carmen smooth operators from the worlds of opera and musical theatre conspire and connive oh, so beautifully. Don Juan, Cleopatra, Delilah and others of their sort sing some of the most gorgeous arias and duets ever written, plus a few funny, jazzy, finger-snapping numbers that will leave you wanting more from these scandalous schemers.
February 11- Grupo Tlaloc
Grupo Tlaloc Danza Azteca is a non profit traditional Mexica/Azteca group embodied of Chicano/Mexicano families and students of all ages dedicated to preserving and nourishing the ancient knowledge of their ancestors. They have pledged to uphold and walk a spiritual way of life and have committed themselves to help educate the public’s view of the Aztec culture. Tlaloc means; He who fertilizes the Earth-liquor of the Earth. He is the rain, which makes things grow.
February 25- Arvada Center Dance Academy
The Arvada Center Dance Academy will bring a delightful combination of Classical Ballet, Jazz Ballet, and modern dance to Highlands Ranch!

Arts Live!
The CAA provides culturally-enriching programming. Bringing high-profile artists, musicians, dance troupes, theatre productions, etc. to the HRCA Day Camps, CAA broadens children's cultural experiences, and by doing so, hopes to cultivate an interest in the arts. We openly welcome families, schools, and groups in Highlands Ranch to attend.

Showtime at Southridge
Showtime at Southridge features a series of performances at the HRCA's beautiful Wildcat Mountain Auditorium. The performance in January features a troupe of stilt walkers, acrobats, jugglers, clowns, and trapeze artists from the Salida Kids' Circus. February celebrates Chinese New Year. October showcases mesmerizing illusions of a professional magician. The month of November traditionally spotlights excerpts from the Nutcracker ballet and December features a performance of holiday musical selections.

Murder Mystery Theater
The moment you enter through the Mansion’s massive carved front door, you are transported to the scene of a crime. Walk through the mansion’s rooms and talk with characters who give hidden clues as to who could have committed the crime. Later join with other detectives who try to discover the culprit.

Fishing on the Fly
The HRCAA and Trout Unlimited teach middle school student’s the art of fly fishing. Students will attend four sessions in a classroom learning to cast, tie flies, and more. The last session will be practicing what they’ve learned at an outdoor venue.

The CAA, Metro Districts, and the Colorado Division of Wildlife get your little ones Hooked On Fishing! Experts from the Colorado Division of Wildlife teach the art of angling and ecology. Poles and bait are provided. Kids keep the poles for future catches!

Culture on the Green Series
This series will pair cultural performances with a beautiful outdoor setting for an experience that is sure to delight all ages. Bring a blanket and a picnic dinner for a great evening under the stars. Free admission.

Summer Concert Series
It’s a free festive family event with music featuring the best of local favorites, food, and beverages that guarantee a good time is to be had by all. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy these concerts! Arts Festival
The HRCAA Arts Festival features a little something for everyone. Many local artists selling one-of-a-kind creations including watercolors, sculpture, jewelry, oils and more are showcased. In addition, you may enjoy hands-on art activities for kids and adults, entertainment, and food concessionaires. Bring the family, shop, and enjoy. Free admission. A wine tasting will be held with separate admission featuring a variety of wines and appetizers.

Highlands Ranch Days 
Highlands Ranch Mansion History is fun and educational—especially at Highlands Ranch Days. Join in this celebration of your community’s heritage at the Highlands Ranch Mansion with western entertainment, livestock displays, historical re-enactments, hay rides, guided tours of the Mansion, and much more. Discover bygone eras when pioneers, fur trappers, gold panners, and Native Americans roamed Highlands Ranch. Don’t miss the pancake breakfast on Saturday morning.

Oktoberfest

The CAA’s Oktoberfest is fun for all ages. Gather your family and friends together for a cultural experience that will delight your children and entertain the adults. Purchase genuine German food, dance to the music of a German band, polka with authentic German folk dancers, and imbibe German beers from Erdinger and Veltins. It’s an evening of non-stop entertainment for the kids, too. Children can play midway games and bounce on inflatables until their hearts are content.

Hanukkah Happening
Come join us at this annual celebration! For nearly two decades, this special Hanukkah celebration event has attracted Highlands Ranch neighbors who share a commonality of religion and culture.
